A bank manager in Huntington Park, Calif., was kidnapped outside her home by two masked men and strapped with what she was told was a bomb in an elaborate bank robbing scheme Wednesday morning.

The woman was forced into her car around 8 a.m. with the device strapped to her, then told to drive to the bank where she worked. She then gave the men a large sum of money when they got to the bank, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The device, which was later removed from the woman's body by a police bomb squad, was not an active bomb and the woman was unharmed, authorities say.

"When East L.A. Sheriff's deputies got there they evacuated the bank and remained inside the bank with the bank manager, who had strapped to her what appeared to the deputies to be a explosive device," said Capt. Mike Parker of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office. "[The bomb squad] very carefully removed that device from her body."

The bank manager's name has not been released, and the robbers are still at large. The woman is being questioned by the police and FBI.

The masked criminals were never seen on camera, as the money was thrown through the back door of the bank to them. They then fled in a white, two-door vehicle, according to KABC.

I find this both hilarious and scary.. this same thing happened a few years ago in Florida I believe.. I need to stop wearing my company shirt in public when I go out to lunch..

Other than that.. ID say investigate the bank manager.. sexy women cannot be trusted.
