We didn't, despite the skies being very clear and travelling to Hengistbury Head, the lights didn't reach the south coast

I missed this spectacle

apparently it could be seen very well from Liverpool; in fact the photo of the guy alone on the beach with his arms raised (its repeated in this series), is actually taken not far from where I live; cant believe I missed it :( xxxx
