you pay more for the conversion than the diamond will be worth... only a tiny percentage of the ashes actually converts....this has been going on for 20 years or so already... i suppose if you have money to throw at this then it's worth it..personally i'd take the 4.5k and buy a real diamond...or a car |

You're entitled to your opinion but the sentimental and emotional values are priceless. If I could afford it I'd do it. There is the cheaper option of using hair to create these diamonds as well.

Clever but you might hit a snafu at step 3...body ashes are very different than wood or cigarette ashes. The diamond producers would see through that plan like a negligee.  |
