Argentine Soprano Florencia Fabris,38 Died After Suffering an Aneurysm on Stage
The Argentine soprano Florencia Fabris, 38, and mother of two children, died Sunday at a Mendoza clinic where was hospitalized after suffering an aneurysm on stage.
When she played the Verdi Requiem on Friday at the Auditorio Juan Victoria of San Juan city, soprano broke down on stage.
So she was moved to Mendoza where was admitted to a hospital and diagnosed with a stroke.
After surgery, Fabris again suffered another stroke that caused her death.
The remains of the artist were veiled on 5084 Cordoba Av. and her remains rest in the private cemetery Peace Garden in Pilar.
She was part of the Children’s Choir of Teatro Colón directed by Valdo Sciammarella, then graduated in opera singing at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome, Italy.
