Anti Hangover Patch

If you’ve ever had one drink too many at a party, you probably already know what a hangover feels like. Luckily, thanks to the new Bytox pathes, you never have to experience the morning-after feeling ever again.

When you consume too much alcohol, the vitamin B complex as well as other nutrients get depleted rapidly from your body, due to the diuretic effect of alcohol. This has some unwanted effects on the central nervous system, which translate into the dreaded condition we all know as “the hangover”. Symptoms include headaches, nausea, sensitivity to light and thirst, and are usually experienced the morning after a person has consumed alcohol. Wouldn’t it be great if you could actually do something to prevent hangovers, and still drink as many beers as you like? Well, apparently, all you have to do is apply a patch on your body and enjoy yourself. The makers of Bytox, an anti-hangover patch, say it replenishes all the vitamin B and nutrients lost during the drinking process, and prevent changes to the central nervous system and restoring the body’s natural balance.

Doctor Leonard Grossman, one of the inventors of Bytox, is a respected is a well known plastic surgeon who’s been helping people look good for the last 17 years. Now, with this new product he wants to help people feel good as well. The idea for this miracle patch was born when the other co-founder, Alex Fleyshmakher, went into Dr. Grossman’s office looking for a cure for his hangover. He was administered an IV of vitamin B complex with other nutrients and soon the headaches and nausea went away. That’s when both their lights went on and they began thinking of ways they could package this “cure” as a product. They considered liquids and pills, but neither of these worked very well, because the alcohol in the stomach annihilated their effect almost entirely, and the IV clearly wasn’t an option. So, eventually, they came up with the Bytox patch, a way to administer all the good stuff directly into the blood stream at a steady pace.

“Only an intravenous stuck in your arm while drinking could be more effective than a Bytox patch. Bytox is the most effective, ready to use product available for the consumer of alcohol, who wants to be functional the day after,” Dr. Leonard Grossman says about his invention. Earlier this year we featured the Las Vegas Hangover Heaven bus, a mobile health center that cures party-goers’ hangover by hooking them up to IVs for 45 minutes. It works like a charm, but with Bytox, you can apparently prevent hangovers from occurring All you have to do is apply the patch about 45 minutes before you start drinking and keep it on four 8 hours after.
After being launched in the US earlier this year, the Bytox anti-hangover patch has recently been launched on the UK market, where it was met with mixed reactions. Party revelers have welcomed it with open arms, but some voices say it just encourages heavy drinking. Truth be told, while Bytox may stop hangovers, it doesn’t prevent you getting drunk or making a fool of yourself, so you’re better off drinking responsibly.

Re: Anti Hangover Patch

One thing that confuses me - the OP, like most literature on the subject, blames an alcohol-induced B vitamin deficiency for hangovers (dehydration is also blamed). Curiously, one of the more common supplements people take to get B vitamins is brewer's yeast.

Applying a bit of logic, if people stick to "old-style" unfiltered beer (i.e. still has the yeast in it, and relatively dilute so drinkers get a lot of water), they should be able to get as drunk as they want without a hangover the next morning.

I'm an ex-drunk...

I say fuck the patch and just don't drink that much (or at all). Life can be fun without booze.

Fuck that - just smash a 5hr Energy before you start drinking, a gatoraide when you're done, and you're good to go.

Re: Anti Hangover Patch

Consider it thinning the herd.
If people are stupid enough to kill themselves with alcohol poisoning, I say let 'em.

It's not a disease.
It's a compulsion.
You can just not drink.
My buddy did.
He was an alcoholic for 16 years, probably still is.
