Its all true, scientifically proven. You can expect sea levels to rise by ten feet. It's likely to occur over the next century or so. So, not urgent or unexpected in the least, just part of Earths' cyclic nature. Human lifespans are tiny in comparison. Here's some reliable links if you've got any interest in the science behind it. We can laugh and joke about this all we want as most of us will not be deeply affected by a 1 foot rise in sea levels. Pacific islanders don't share the joke as there are already several island states feeling the effects of global warming. Do you understand how many people will die if the sea level rises by 13 feet? |
