This is sad. Who gives a flying fuck if it was online or not? Bullying is very real regardless if it's at school, work or over the internet. Since when has it been okay to throw out your morals and values when you get on the computer?

I think some people in this thread think that cyberbullying only consists of flame wars, when really it consists of many things including harassment, stalking, anonymity, and outing. Sometimes the bully and the victim know each other in real life, sometimes they don't.

I'm sorry but if the girl was easily effected by bulling to the point that she kills herself than maybe she shouldn't have had access to the internet. I was fucked with by kids at some point to another and just stood my ground and punked them out. Rest her soul, but grow a pair and kick the bullys ass.

It is IF the bullying is internet based. My uncle certainly did a good job off keeping his vulnerable son off it when a shit storm erupted by NOT allowing a PC in his room whatsoever. When my cousin did use it, he was supervised. All for his own good ultimately and now he is that bit older, he's sound.

If certain sites cause people aggro, they really ought to simply keep off them.
