Good effort I guess, but hardly effective. Every man and grandma, his grandma's dog and their puppy's know who ISIS are, social media isn't needed for that. If somebody was hell bent on joining ISIS, they would do it whether they've seen them on Twitter in not.

It's more about them having more avenues to find support. On twitter all the idiots can get together and you don't have to be in the same place.

I think anon is doing a good job at being a PITA for ISIS. I don't know about you, but every ISIS video I see they are talking about how awesome and powerful they are and this is just a little step in making them feel powerless.

Pie, just a little side note - you do realize that every time they tweet their location is given away. So if all these little tweets are coming from the same place they're setting themselves up for a bomb.

They have probably just interfered with a huge intelligence operation the US has going on, monitoring these accounts.

And these anonymous videos are so ridiculous and silly. The ventrilo voice and lux aeterna track needs to go.

ISIS kills people....and in return, they get their internet shut down. not exactly an effective war strategy, if you ask me. turns out, they will likely keep killing, internet access or not.

I have no doubt intelligence monitors these accounts, or did.
It probably will have little effect on ISIS, more effect on intelligence gathering.

it's like people standing around a car accident after the EMTs are already there.....they want to help but there isnt anything real that they can do to help so they are just in the way.

The 2 percent leaves the question, doing good for who's end?
