Before my toy poodle, Bella, passed away last summer I had to take her in to get her hair and nails cut. Even with an appointment, they would have her for hours. Fortunately, I never had a problem. And the grooming area was open enough that you could see all sorts of dogs being groomed and I never noticed anything hinky.
