Yep! That's them. The people who buy them are told the water they are in have all the nutrients they need to survive. Fucking idiots

Think about those screams next time you're about to buy something made in china, that purchase is supporting the economy of a civilisation (i use that word loosely) that has no respect for the welfare of life. Japan is just as bad, as are quite a number of other 'civilisations' on this planet.
I'm no tree hugging greeny but i draw the line at animal cruelty, if something has to die then it has the right to a quick death.
excellent point and i completely agree, if something has to die then it has the right to a quick death.

phffft, it takes a lot to keep those animals healthy in captivity... there's no way in hell they have anything close to what they need in the tiny little pouch... that's not mentioning the obvious fact that they dont have nearly enough room, no fresh air and are living in their own waste.

Re: Angora Sales Halted Over Rabbit Cruelty Video

I read a story once about a woman on holiday there bought all the key rings that were on sale and released them. Think i'd do that too, not that it makes a massive difference i suppose.
I could never visit those kinda places though as i'd be so full of anger.

i dont know what to do in that situation, honestly... because i wonder if they would even survive in the wild and if they did, if they would become an invasive species.... i would have to just avoid the situation all together as well. i get very worked up and irritated just going into the local pet stores (they are not well maintained, imo, and the people that work there obviously lack knowledge about the animals they are caring for)... i would lose my mind.

I'd release them too I think. Even if they didn't survive, at least they'd die in the wild and not stuck in a piece of plastic or whatever they are in. Or slaughter the seller

Pet stores make me sick to my stomach. Don't even get me started on circuses. I never took my girls to one, and they also didn't attend with the class from school. (The Shriners give younger grades tickets for a matinee of the El Riad Shrine circus here.) My kids were brought up to respect all life, and that confining/abusing wild animals (ie circuses) is not fucking entertainment, but cruel.

Sorry, Kelly. I couldn't make myself watch this video. Rabbit coats are for vain thoughtless people who don't mind that they are shedding everywhere they go.
