I thought she had actually started to clean up her act and put more weight on, maybe i was wrong....

Same here, which is why I was kind of shocked when I heard about it.

Sad, of course, but inevitable. She was a well-known drug/drink abuser - that is the reality. Not some great 'role model'. Had more hits in her bloodstream. It's her dad I feel for. He and she were very close

There have been many great actors/stars/artists who have died over the past few years and they received hardly so much as a word of worship & OTT tribute. Charlton Heston, Burt Lancaster, for example.
