If you read further into amusement park accidents you will realize that 8 out of 10 of them are due to improper conduct either in or around the ride. Some people wiggle out of their restraints either purposely or accidentally, then some idiots do something stupid like hop security gates, end up with their head taken off.
Then you have those that have heart conditions or such.

I don't trust them either. Those rides look sketchy as hell. Especially the roller coaster at the county fair sitting on wooden blocks.
