Amazing Florida Sinkhole Video Released
03 April 2013 Officials in Hillsborough county, Florida, have released footage showing a giant cavity under a house caused by a sinkhole which engulfed a man as he slept. Jeff Bush, 36, is missing and presumed dead. Can't even recover the body? Did the guy fall into the abyss or what? Scariest way to die ever. I'd rather fall out of a plane or get eaten by a bear.

I think of my bedroom as pretty much the safest place to be, it would be so fucked for the ground to literally open up and swallow you whole.  |

Officials estimated it was up to 100 feet deep, but the problem was its unstability: it was too dangerous for the rescuers, even the slightest movement could have resulted in further deadly collapses; the house was later demolished.
