Alligator Bites the Arm on Handler in Hollywood, Fl.
So I happen to know someone who knows everyone that works at this place. And I was able to get a picture of his arm before he went to the hospital.. A 22-year-old alligator handler is undergoing one of several surgeries on his arm after a 1,000-pound alligator bit him during a demonstration at a Hollywood zoo and wildlife sanctuary. Will Nace, a volunteer handler, was bitten by the alligator Lunge while performing during a private party at Native Village on Saturday, said park co-owner Ian Tyson. The alligator grabbed Nace's arm and dragged him into a pond where the two spun around. Another trainer jumped into the gated pit and manage to set Nace's arm free. Surge Achille, a party-planner at the park, said the frightening incident took less than a few minutes. "It was surrreal. It was like your mind couldn't catch up with what was happening," Achille said. "I kept thinking it wasn't real, but it was." Austin Rice, another handler, said Nace appeared in shock after the incident. "He just stood there without any reaction holding his arm," Rice said. "Then he said 'This is not good. I need to go to a hospital.' " Nace, who broke his arm in two places, was expected to remain hospitalized while doctor perform a number of skin grafs, Tyson said. Tyson said the alligator will continue to remain at the park, where he has lived for the past 13-years. "Some reports said this was an attack. This was not an attack," Tyson said. "We were in his territory and unfortunately, Will got too close." |

A 1000lbs croc did that little damage to his arm by doing a death roll? That guy is fucking lucky to even have that arm still attached to his shoulder.

"A 22-year-old alligator handler is undergoing one of several surgeries on his arm after a 1,000-pound alligator bit him during a demonstration at a Hollywood zoo and wildlife sanctuary." Demonstrating 'lunch time' for gators, with 'handler' being the first appetizer |

That gator that did this has lived at this Sanctuary for as long as I can remember. He is the biggest gator on the property and he isn't the nicest gator lol.. When he snaps his tail around during this demostrations you can feel the it in the ground. The reason the damage was so minimum was because the handler was smart enough to hang on to the gator and roll with him, until other handlers could get in there and get him out. I have watched this show many many times and these handlers know what they are dealing with. But the show must go on it's the only way they know to save these animals.. They take in gators found in lakes and ponds and take in other animals as well. It's a really cool place. This guy was lucky and obviously his training paid off.
