![]() They should have been grateful that someone went to the trouble to ensure that they would be properly communicated with. It's not the handler's fault for using the politically incorrect term; it's the travelers' fault for not knowing what the term "dumb" meant within that context. The airline should have told them to fuck off and be grateful that someone actually gave enough of a fuck to care whether or not they got their shit back. Hopefully the line about "sensitivity training" is just corporate PR bullshit, because it would be a shame to sacrifice that worker's productivity for the sake of appeasing a couple of whiny assholes. |

Re: Airline Apologizes For Note on Deaf Couple's Bag Yup. It still baffles me that people don't quite understand that being offended does not translate into actionable damages. |

![]() I think there should be Asshole Police for people who don't use turn signals, tailgate, etc., because I know there are more important things to worry about. Murders, fires, rapes, other assaults, robberies, etc. do deserve their full attention. Once there is an accident, the police have to show up anyway. |

Re: Airline Apologizes For Note on Deaf Couple's Bag That is a valid point, if they don't have one of those special phones at home. When I was in the hospital, the husband of the woman in the next bed asked me to call to have her tv turned on because he couldn't hear the prompts. After he left, she and I watched porno! ![]() |

Re: Airline Apologizes For Note on Deaf Couple's Bag It sounds like the mother of one of the people involved, is the one bitching! I had a bag once arrive MD, instead of NC one time. It was there an hour later. End of story. I also had an airline in TN put us in first class for a return flight one time for no reason. I asked if they had any extra bag straps because I didn't think to take it off, not angry. He brought out an entire box of straps and told me take what I wanted. First, the guy joked with me and said he didn't have a reservation for us, then said he'd just have to put is in there. The friend I was with was so excited as if we hit the lottery, lol! |

Re: Airline Apologizes For Note on Deaf Couple's Bag I think it is just a misunderstanding and the way that it was written was a bit cryptic. |
