There actually was a male to female transgendered singer in the 70's and 80's named Wayne County, who became Jayne County. She was not attractive either way. See below her two biggest hits! She had some funny lyrics! I cannot remember her band's name and she never got really famous. The rumor back then was that she became a singer for money for her surgeries. The Electric Chairs! One could hardly call Wendy Carlos a rock star. Excellent ground breaking musician no doubt, but not rock star. Their's also Genesis P Orridge of Throbbing Gristle but I think he prefers the term "Pan-gendered". |
