Yes! That would be ideal. I think in many cases, unfortunately, the evidence has been destroyed or can't be found. That's how Casey Anthony walked. |

The justice system should have to pay him millions in damages. I know money wouldn't make up for the lost years, but at least he could live great.

Under Louisiana law, wrongfully convicted persons are eligible for compensation to the tune of $25,000 per year imprisoned; but only up to a maximum of $250,000. Mr. Ford is also entitled to another $9,000 to put towards job training and medical costs. However, he must first have his innocence procedurally verified within the appropriate court; and the state legislature must then approve his compensation on a budgetary basis. |
