Re: African Lioness in Norwalk? Experts Analyzing Grainy Video

Well I've searched for any updates on the story and there really hasn't been any. So I guess we are still left to speculate. But it definitely does not look like a dog to me.

The body shape does look lion-ish. The gait is wrong/off. All the lions and other felines I've seen, walk differently than that.

That's what made me think "dog", but the damn tail looks more cat than dog. It's got a rounded tip. The head is hard to tell. If we could see the ears more clearly, that would help.

It really isn't that hard to smuggle live animals. I'd bet serious money that there are big cats there.

I hate these grainy "beast sighting" videos.
Only thing about Norwalk is, it's a completely urban area. It's a small city surrounded by other cities with not one rural area. Also, (I grew up around this area, so I know) it's a middle/low class area, meaning there are no big mansions owned by drug dealers with room for crazy exotic pets. Doesn't mean someone didn't get one in their small backyard, but I'd highly doubt it.

Looking for updates for this story I came across this video. Could this be what people are mistaking for Bigfoot, a bipedal bear.. This video was shot in Northern New Jersey yesterday morning. The video is actually kind of comedic. I love it when the bear looks into a garbage can.

People have been busted for keeping big cats and other large exotics in their little apartments - so it's highly possible.

Re: African Lioness in Norwalk? Experts Analyzing Grainy Video

I vote African lioness by the movement/gait & large head size. Anyone missing a large kitty?

Re: African Lioness in Norwalk? Experts Analyzing Grainy Video

As a side note, if you can't even tell whether something is a house cat or a lion, WHAT FUCKING GOOD IS THE CCTV?!
