maybe some people don't want to do the whole baby stage. maybe some people have older children and think a child around the same age will be a good fit. there are thousands of children in foster care and thousands more people want babies instead of older children and it's heartbreaking. all children deserve to be a home where they are loved and cared for and not in the system. on another note, there was another case about this type of thing. Frédéric Bourdin pretended to be a boy, Nicholas Barclay, who was missing from Texas and he even had the missing kid's family believing he was this person for about 5 months before he was caught. |

This is all fine and good. But if you've got evidence young kids are being trained as terrorists, and you're taking in old-looking kids from such places, there should be a shit-load of assessment going on of these kids, and not just welcoming them into another country too quickly. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and so-on... |

Also wonder if they're checking mobile phones of these "refugees". No ID means you have to be stopped at the border imo and from there thoroughly checked who the hell he or she is. If it remains vague they can't enter.
