Sick bastards doing that to a deer. I mean, to bring a pack of armed men in to grab the deer and kill it? Wth? And then they say it would be ok with a permit?? So if you pay off the state beforehand, they might not storm in and kill an innocent animal? This whole situation is messed up. And that Neimeyer person trying to rationalize it? A baby deer isn't marijuana and those people caring for it weren't drug dealers. It is NOT the same thing.

Sick. Sad & sick. No excuse for this behaviour. Especially as he was scheduled to go wildlife rehab the next day. This makes me physically ill.

DNR workers were notified that a no kill shelter had a fawn in their possession... local laws there prohibit that, so they raided the place (supposedly heavily armed), sedated the animal, placed it in a bag and removed it from the shelter, then euthanized it. the owners of the no kill shelter said the fawn was scheduled to be transferred to a local facility that could have taken it legally...
