It wouldn't be rocket science to add a kg of ham and have a new world record. A totally pointless gesture if you ask me.

The west has turned extravagance and wastage into a virtue, gluttony into a joke, greed into a tv program, while 50% of the world is hungry every day of it's life!

And the world has always been like this.

How can the West help more than half the population to get food, water and aid? It cannot and I will not enjoy my money being spent on areas that are heavily wartorn and have been so since the dawn of mankind.

Technology is hampered by protesters all over the world which can be developed to help grow crops in tough environments.

GM crops are an example.

Nuclear energy is frowned upon but it is cheap energy for many years but yet again, protests go against it.

If you want progress in helping the poor, stop supporting those who are against progression.
