So are they calling for armed guards at schools now? What about shopping malls? Do they already have armed security there? Or swimming pools? I'm not a gun nut but I don't think tighter gun laws would stop someone if they're determined. I also don't think having an armed population would prevent a government take over. After all, the government has laser guided rockets etc. You'd have to be an amazing shot to take those out. Surely the money should be spent looking into what makes people do these things and then on measures that would stop the behavior before it gets to the point of a shooting?
