Re: 28 dead in Connecticut school shooting massacre
A person with a CCW is probably following the law which is why they wouldn't be on school grounds. And why would they be there in the first place if they aren't employees? If only a small percentage of people have a CCW, what are the chances they are where a shooting takes place? What are the chances they are within range of the shooter? You're bad because you carry a gun and you're bad because you weren't there to use the gun? What do you think the better course of action is to prevent events like this? 1. Ban guns, hope all the crazies and criminals turn theirs in. 2. Make it mandatory that doors on schools be some form of bullet resistant and locked. Have a campus that's designed so anyone coming on the campus can be quickly identified. Some times it's better to take a defensive approach than offensive. Sorry if I'd rather take my chances saving people like you than cowering in a corner. I guess that's why people get raped on trains with lots of people around or why bullies are so successful. |

Re: 28 dead in Connecticut school shooting massacre
Legislation and restrictions placed on law abiding citizens will NEVER prevent a criminal or sick fuck from harming others. Only people can prevent people from doing shit. In a way, I wish this asshole was still alive so he could have some prison justice dealt to him -- if he would have made it that far after the cops beat the living shit out of him. You *know* that the inmates would have ripped him apart. |

Re: 28 dead in Connecticut school shooting massacre
I have a weapons license and live in Oklahoma and we can open carry here. I never open carry because I choose not to do so. However, I am responsible and follow every law to the letter. I feel better knowing I can protect myself in a life or death ONLY situation. I agree something needs to be done but its such a mess I don't even know where to start. Bottom line is with stricter laws maybe there would be less, but it will still happen. Such a tragedy that people have to go so low as to kill another out of hate, anger, whatever they did it for. But to go to this level and involve all these children and their families in his fucked up plot is just beyond anything I've ever seen. You see the typical bully gets killed by kid that he bullied, or your revenge plots. All very sad situations, but what did these kids ever do to him? Sick! |

Re: 28 dead in Connecticut school shooting massacre
Children should not have to be traumatized like this! So sad! Another case of, "He should have killed himself first." He did it anyway! The gun is registered to his mother. The death toll is up to 28 now. · |

Re: 28 dead in Connecticut school shooting massacre
This is so far beyond fucked up. Only like 3 days ago we have a shooting in an Oregon mall and now a mass school shooting in Connecticut. I cannot understand why someone who clearly had issues with his parents would choose to murder 20 children, all of which had nothing to do with his anger. I just connot understand any of it and never will. Adam Lanza may burn in hell for what he has done. Of course just like the others before him, he kills himself like the bitch ass coward he was. I just hope these poor families can somehow go on with life without thier babys. |
