$25,000?
I say NOT ENOUGH!!! This is obviously a case of neglect that ended in an innocent angel dieing. Bail should be AT LEAST$200,000. COVINGTON, Ky. - The woman facing charges after she woke up and found her infant daughter dead remains behind bars following a court appearance Wednesday afternoon. Megin Gray, 26, appeared in a Kenton County court to face second-degree criminal abuse charges. A judge set her bond at $25,000. Investigators say last week Gray admitted to taking Xanax, Percocet and drinking alcohol before going to sleep at her Covington home on John Street. When she woke up, police say Gray found her 9-month-old daughter, Anthia Lattimore, on top of a baseboard heater and severely burned. The baby was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney says he's waiting on an autopsy report to see if more charges are appropriate. · |

Re: $25,000?
This is definitely a tragedy, but the court based that bond on whether there had been intent behind the child's death, which doesn't appear to be the case here. Most likely she gonna face a manslaughter conviction, if that is all that's involved. It all depends on the autopsy.
