I'm not looking for an argument, just stating my opinion. I don't understand people who don't think these two particular dogs should be put down. I would take my OWN dogs and shoot them in the woods if they had killed someone.

I would not do it just because they killed someone in their territory. I have some very lage, yet highly trained dogs, and three oof them are going to do what it takes to stop intruders. the dog is simly doing what it is programmed to do.

She does not deserve the death sentence she got for trespassing, but then neither do those dogs.

She wasn't just mauled by the pit, she was fed upon. Let's get it straight. When they chew and rip off the face and throat of an adult 22 year old women they aren't spitting out the parts. They were eating the intestines of that 4 year old boy they pulled under a fence last week. They tore a homeless guy's arms off and fought over them - the only reason he survived the hideous attack. As to the police report the Husky did all the barking and caused minor scratches on the girl's ankle, whereas the Pit ripped her apart and chewed her face to the point of death. Both dogs however are going to get put down and the dog owner will be lucky as hell to avoid prison time.

If you're going to have killer dog(s) on your property you better make damn sure they only kill someone if they absolutely need to.

You cannot kill someone just because they hopped your fence, even if they wanted to steal your t.v. in the process. It's the equivalent of having landmines that blows someone apart when they step onto your lawn. Too much force, dog owner is in serious shit.
