Two days after police arrived to subdue the 4 year old part-Himalayan cat, owner Lee Palmer, of Portland, says he's taking the feline to a veterinarian. A pet psychologist also is due at the house to see the cat, named Lux. Palmer says the animal attacked after the 7 month old child pulled its tail. The baby wasn't injured. On the 911 call, the cat can be heard screeching in the background as Palmer says in a panicked voice: "He's charging us. He's at our bedroom door." Palmer also tells the dispatcher the cat has a, "history of violence." Officers used a dog snare to capture the cat, and placed it in a crate. With a baby in the house? Really? It'd be outta there! My brother had a dog and the babies would step on his balls and he didn't give a shit. He'd wake him and my sister-in-law up, if the baby woke up before them. My first thought would be the supposed taxidermist in the bobcat story. I didn't realize this story was already posted. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: 22 Pound Cat with a "history of Violence" Ive seen vids of people being attacked by cats. Id rather be attacked by a dog honestly. Their claws catch into you and can rip open large gashes and you cant get a gripping cat off. Plus everything is probably going to get infected. Id put the cat to sleep. Too many nice cats needing homes to keep one that likes to attack. I saw one episode of animal cops where they where catching cats out of a house and the cat grabbed the guys leg and ripped a huge hole in it, he couldnt get the cat off. |

Re: 22 Pound Cat with a "history of Violence" Okay, two observations, 1. That is a reasonably big fully-grown male house cat. ![]() 2. That is a fucking gigantic seven month old human. ![]() |
