That would never happen. Well, none of this would ever actually happen, but if some confluence of absurd events set it in motion, the entire focus in this stupid-as-hell situation would be safety: efficient crowd control to keep people moving at a steady pace to prevent trampling or crushing, having predefined staging areas with canopies so people could rest and get out of the heat, and probably a few thousand guardsmen handing out bottles of water and peanut butter sandwiches while they keep an eye out for anyone who needs assistance. And it's pointless. They're still not going to let anyone see the Voltrons. This sort of mass crowd control is actually an interesting topic, though. The foremost experts in the world are the Saudis, who have to contend with the Hajj. They have learned that when you start getting densities greater than 5 people per square meter, crowds start flowing like bodies of water, with individuals carried along in flows and currents. |
