Re: 200 Lb Child Removed From Home Because of Weight Well, she wasn't not feeding him. Was she beating him or sexually abusing him? Did he live in a closet in his own filth? Was the house dirty or unsafe? None of these things are mentioned. Just that the child has a severe weight problem. I imagine that the state of Ohio's child welfare system has many of cases of actual child abuse to deal with. This seems silly to me. |

Re: 200 Lb Child Removed From Home Because of Weight I think it's mandatory he have a dr appt with a CPS worker involved. If there is no medical reason for him being like that. He needs to be removed, parents need nutrition classes and parenting classes. Then instead of the cost of having him in foster care, supply the family with a nutritionist. Just my opinion. |
