Re: 20 Yo Woman Arrested for Having Sex with 14 Yo Boy She Was Hired to Babysit
If it was the other way around, which would never happen, 20 year old male babysitting 14 year old girl, would never happen, but let's say for arguments sake that it did, the 20 year old boy would be hanged and if it was in Mexico he would be beat publicly by the neighbors and lit on fire, burned alive, that's a fact. |

Re: 20 Yo Woman Arrested for Having Sex with 14 Yo Boy She Was Hired to Babysit
*start of rant* Wow! Talk about double-standards on this one! Here are the facts: 1. The woman is 20 years old, making her an ADULT in the eyes of the law. 2. The boy she was hired to babysit was 14 years old, making him a CHILD in the eyes of the law. This was still considered sexual assault because the boy was a CHILD aka JAILBAIT. *end of rant* |

Re: 20 Yo Woman Arrested for Having Sex with 14 Yo Boy She Was Hired to Babysit
1. What kind of 14 year old guy needs "baby sitting"? 2. How the fuck do you "sexually assault" a 14 year old guy? Especially if the chick is attractive? I'm sure he was super traumatized, being "raped" and all. |

Re: 20 Yo Woman Arrested for Having Sex with 14 Yo Boy She Was Hired to Babysit
Again, the boy is FOURTEEN YEARS OLD, meaning he is NOT OF CONSENTUAL AGE! So in the eyes of the law, he is still considered a CHILD!! It does not even matter whether he said "Yes" or "No" because it is still considered as STATUTORY RAPE! PERIOD!! |

Re: 20 Yo Woman Arrested for Having Sex with 14 Yo Boy She Was Hired to Babysit
This is an excerpt from Wikipedia regarding statutory rape, also regarding this case. Female-male statutory rape In the past, sex involving an adult female and an underage male was often ignored by the law, and was often interpreted as a sexual initiation for the younger male.[dubious – discuss][15] However, in recent years in some countries social perceptions have shifted,[dubious – discuss][citation needed] in part because mental health experts have noted that such sexual encounters can often be characterized as abusive, resulting in serious, long-term problems for the boys involved. Additionally, controversial were cases when the adult female is in a position of responsibility over the boy, and there have now been a number of high profile cases (Mary Kay Letourneau, Debra Lafave, Pamela Rogers Turner), in which adult females have been prosecuted for participating in sexual relationships with male minors. Under English and Scottish common law, such cases would be viewed as indecent assault and some cases have been prosecuted.[16][17] In at least one case the U.S. courts have held that male victims of rape are liable for child support for any children resulting from the crime. In County of San Luis Obisbo v. Nathaniel J. the victim discussed a future relationship with the perpetrator and stated that the sex was "mutually agreeable." Given this testimony, the California Court of Appeal held Nathaniel J. financially responsible.[18] [edit] |
