"Family Gun" sounds so ridiculous it's funny. But for a 2 year old to get their hands on a gun, shows the gun owner was not responsible in the least. I hope they never tell this kid he killed his mother. |

I'm sorry but I always find it funny when one of the dumber gun owners that doesn't secure their weapons around their children gets shot by said children. I mean, just imagine visual - a toddler with a gun pointing it at momma or poppa with a big goofy grin, followed by a giggle, followed by a big bang. At least we have that wonderful video testament of the gun at that arab wedding (of course  ) where the little kid blows away his dummy daddy that left the gun on the table  |

And they are the safe, normal type that will never shoot anyone, nor themselves. Yet in several big blue cities across America, one 15yrold, with one stolen gun will go and shoot 5 random ppl in one nite because “they was disrepectin him by lookin at him crazy”. |

I would genuinely like to know the statistics on how many times guns have been used to successfully defend a home invasion/stop a crime vs how many times they’ve been used by people to shoot family members or themselves be it accidentally or on purpose.
