14 Year Old Boy Dies After School Fight
A 14-year-old schoolboy who collapsed during an altercation with another boy has died in hospital, police said. Euan Craig died shortly after noon on Thursday at the Southern General in Glasgow. Strathclyde Police were called to Rosshall Academy in the Crookston area of the city at around 11.45am on Wednesday. A 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life when he appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court today. He made no plea or declaration and was released on bail. A police spokeswoman said: 'Sympathies are extended to his family. If the kid dies from wounds received during the fight it could be manslaughter..if he died because he had a bad ticker and that got him. It gets more complicated.
