Anger management therapy might do some good  Everybody, at some point in their life, will find themselves in a frame of mind where hurting -or even killing- another person is sorely tempting. Anyone who claims otherwise is either a liar or completely delusional. Rational human beings are able to control themselves enough to avoid emotional outbursts (which is why I didn't get even by slashing the tires on the shithead boss's Hummer after I quit a previous job.) . 12 year old's are not rational; they view the world only as it pertains to them. Never mind the myriad reasons one preteen would have to bully another (which usually starts at home with an abusive relative). In this kids mind the victims deserved what they got for having wronged him the past. There's no way to really stop bullying in general- some kids are mean little bastards, but clearly the 'just ignore them' approach is not enough either. It's time to start taking this shit seriously. |
