11 Year Old Attacked With Baseball Bat
November 2007: His nose is broken, his eye is swollen and closed, and nine stitches hold his forehead together. These are the injuries suffered by a schoolboy in a baseball bat attack. Today Cameron told of his ordeal, and said: “I was really frightened. When the bat hit me it really hurt. I was against a wall so I couldn’t run away. There was lots of blood.” He was attacked while playing with friends, on wasteland near the Royal Chippy on Market Street, at around noon. The Seaton Burn College pupil was punched by one person who then ran off but later returned with others, armed with the bat. “Me and my friends were waiting at the bus stop when someone came and said we had been calling him names,” he said. “Then he punched me in the nose and he ran away. “But then they drove back in a car with some other people who started shouting at me and I could see one of them had a baseball bat. I was really scared. “He was hitting me in the face and I just put my hands over my head to protect myself but then he hit me in the back of the legs and I fell over. “Someone picked me up and put me against the wall and kicked me. I was trying to get away but I couldn’t, I was just cornered. “I didn’t expect anything like that to happen, I was really shocked.” Cameron is recovering at home in Fern Drive, Dudley, with his parents, and sister Nikkita, 14. His parents, Malcolm and Helen, fear he may be emotionally scarred after his physical injuries heal. Helen, 44, said: “Cameron’s dead soft, he wouldn’t hurt anyone. It’s heartbreaking to look at him. He has been really quiet since this happened.” And Malcolm, 48, a gas services manager, added: “When we saw him we were horrified “Blood was pouring from his eye and there was a gaping wound down to the bone. He had to go to hospital by ambulance as he couldn’t stand up. “He had to have a CAT scan to check there was no more serious damage or blood clots. The doctors said he was lucky. “He’s not the same since it happened. He’s hardly talked and has just been sitting shivering all day. And he has hardly eaten since because his face is so swollen. “Kids are always going to fight, I’ve got no problem with that, but someone has come along and hit him with a baseball bat.” An 11-year-old boy and 54-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the assault. Both are still helping police with their inquiries. Doctors have told Cameron he may be left scarred by the attack. · |

Re: 11 Year Old Attacked With Baseball Bat
hE SAID he didn't expect anything like to happen. WHO WOULD ??? THATs not a fucking admission. Who the fuck beats an 11 year old kid with a baseball bat (a lethal weapon) then knocks them down and props them up against a wall to kick them??? I'm only 5 feet tall, when my son was 11 he was just barely my size. A 54 YEAR OLD MAN ? Look, kids are gonna call each other names. A grown adult does not then beat the other kid with a fucking baseball bat !! (except of course fucking MUDSLIMES) Only a rotten cunt like you would say some stupid fucking shit like that. |
