No he wasn't. If she killed herself that's her own choice. She needs to take responsibility.

She's obviously lost it. Driving slowly on the wrong side of the road was probably her meek cry for help, or whatever people do when they feel hopeless/lost the will to live.

It's a bit sad but I think she would have killed herself anyway. Didn't even look like she cared she was getting beat up.
