A hammer is considered a deadly weapon, and using it like that is considered use of deadly force. She'll live if they quickly get her to a hospital, but there's a chance she may have neurological problems for the rest of her life ESPECIALLY IF THEY TAKE THEIR SWEET TIME GETTING THERE. If they don't take her to a hospital... she might die from some kind of hematoma.

I think I remember this being because of the show “who wants to be a millionaire”, if you can believe it. The woman was unable to answer the final question; who performed the song “U can’t touch this”, and this is how her husband acted when she came home without a million dollars
