Woman Body-Slammed by a Popeyes Employee at the Parking Lot
An older woman is seen leaving a Popeyes restaurant in Tennessee followed by employees of the place and other customers. Someone is yelling profanities at her as she walks away, but a Popeyes employee comes up from behind her, grabs her around the waist, picks her up and then body-slams her onto the pavement. The woman suffered 6 broken ribs, a shattered left arm and a broken knee cap as a result of the incident. A spokesperson from Popeyes released a statement regarding the altercation: "We were shocked to learn about what happened in Tennessee. These actions run completely contrary to our standards and the integrity of our brand. Following an investigation, the franchisee took immediate action and we were informed that the employee has since been terminated. The entire circumstance is highly unfortunate for all involved and we hope to never see this type of behavior again." Police arrested 29-year-old Deriance Ra’Shaiel Hughes and charged him with felony aggravated assault. The woman would have allegedly called the Popeye’s employee the “N-word. |

Way for them to prove her prejudices right, such heroes for attacking an elderly woman from behind. |

There was no need to take it this far, acted tough now paying the consequences, should have just ignored it and carried on and no one has to go to jail or hospital

Just go to chick-filet for christ sakes. People need to be more aware of their surroundings.
