The clip - filmed in the Chicago Rock N Roll branch of the food outlet - shows a gang of thugs picking up the metal chairs from the floor and swinging them into the victim.

He is then punched repeatedly as he lies prone on the ground.

The violent attack took place in the early hours of Saturday.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that the police were called to the restaurant at around 1am.

However, they are not looking into the case further as no injuries were reported.
