Depends on who started it. If you initiate a fight, then you don't get to dictate how said fight ends. That's why it's better to walk away, you never know what's going to happen in a street fight with no rules.

My friendly reply would be "it depends". I don't go to bars anymore (too old) but back in my day I've seen more than one drunk dickhead looking for the smallest guy in the place to start shit with. I had some redneck come at me once, with his buddy behind him, screaming at me "you swore at my girlfriend" (I wasn't in the place 5 minutes). He swung at me and got a beer bottle busted over his head. Tell the Emergency room doctor what an unfair prick I was, perhaps he'll care.
