Brazil, The case took place on Friday afternoon, in the central region of the city and resulted in edema and abrasions on the face, skull and hands of a school bus driver in the city, who tried to intervene in a fight to prevent harm to third parties.

A school bus driver, whose identity was not revealed by the Military Police, who responded to the incident, was cowardly attacked by two men in Nova Esperança, on Friday (17). The incident occurred at around 5:20 pm, in front of the São Vicente de Paula State College.

According to the victim's report, he was parked there waiting for the students to leave when he witnessed a fight between two students. One of those involved in the fight had a stone in his hands and was threatening to throw the object at a city Social Assistance car, which was parked nearby.

To prevent the stone from being thrown, the driver intervened and held the individual down. He was then attacked from behind by two men, who threw punches, kicks and even a helmet on his head.

The victim fell to the ground and continued to be attacked by the individuals, who kicked his head. The aggression was only stopped by the intervention of other people who witnessed the incident.

The driver was taken to Municipal Hospital, where he received medical treatment. According to a police report, he suffered edema and abrasions on his face, skull and hands. After being treated, he remained under medical observation to assess the severity of the injuries.

The victim was unable to name the attackers, but said he would recognize them if he saw them again. The case was registered with the Civil Police and investigations are ongoing. The report continues to follow the case.
