Saudi Youth Attack Lebanese McDonalds Employees
The assailants punched the restaurant workers, which resulted in one of them falling to the ground unconscious. It was reported that the video was published via Saudi WhatsApp groups, with the title "Our Lebanese Literature". McDonald's commented on the incident: McDonald's confirmed that the employees who were beaten are fine, without mentioning the nationality of the employees. In a video circulating about what happened recently in one of our branches on the Riyadh-Makkah Road from an attack on our restaurant and our employees, we would like to express our deep regret for what happened and confirm that all our employees, praise be to God, are fine. However, some of them sustained minor injuries and were treated immediately after the accident." The company added: "We also thank the competent official authorities for their support and immediate follow-up to the incident and taking the legal measures". Media sites reported that the Saudi representative had ordered the arrest of the assailants. |
