Roma 5 – 1 CSKA Moscow - Ultras Fight
17/09/2014 Sport Mediaset has reported that two traveling Russian fans were stabbed outside the Stadio Olimpico. A brawl broke out between Russian and Roman fans outside the Stadio Olimpico before kickoff of the Champions League game between CSKA Moscow and Roma. The two wounded fans were transported to the Gemelli Clinic. One of the fans arrived at the hospital with stab wounds to the torso and abdomen. At this time, the victim has been reported to be in critical condition. The other fan has a stab wound to the head, which may have been caused by a beer bottle used as a weapon. The incident took place at the Ponte Duca d’Aosta area in Rome. It appears that CSKA Moscow fans are now attacking stewards near the Curva Sud. Smoke is beginning to fill the stadium from the flares. Police were forced to intervene in the Curva Sud to protect fans from the smoke-bombs that were being hurled from the Russian supporters.
