Football fans are brutal

A new video, apparently captured by a security camera of the Municipality of Cartago, Costa Rica, shows the brutal beating that five hooligans gave to a follower of the Sport Club Cartaginés, during a confrontation last Sunday in the outskirts of the José Rafael Fello Meza stadium, in Carthage.

The video first shows four "fans" repeatedly punching and kicking the head of another man who is on the ground, almost without reaction, and hands covering his face. Then a fifth man appears with a huge rock in his hands throwing it at the head of the man laying down.

The impact caused a fracture of the skull, which needed emergency treatment in the Hospital Max Peralta. The young man is now in recovery.

For his part, the man who threw the stone, is wanted by the police under the charge of homicide.
