But if Captain Macho is hammering upon your driver-side window, you're best to stay put (particularly if others are in the car.) Advise your passengers to plug their ears, as they'll likely perforate their eardrums if you fire your weapon in the car.

If Captain Macho is likely presenting his chest/abdomen area as he verbally assaults you and physically assaults your vehicle. If you aren't an MMA champ, or at least as large as he/she/it, be ready. If they bust that window, providing that you are not larger and/or certified as better-trained in physical-combat, you might have the opportunity to defend yourself with that which resides in your underarm. (And no, I'm not talking about your B.O. Wash every day, kids. LOL) Stepping out of the car is exactly what cro-magnons like this want. Don't feed the trolls with anything other than discretion and wisdom, followed by lead if need be.
