He's not hitting the woman at all. Imagine how pissed you would be if someone barricaded you on the freeway and made you stop. WTF. That guy deserved it to get owned. The victim was a bulldozer. That asshole is lucky cause if the fight wasn't stopped he'd be knocked out and broken. The guy took it out on the man and only shoved the woman off of him.
