Dewali - One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism. Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance." |

Re: Residents Beat Up Engineers Come to Cut Off Electric
A friend of mine came back from Vietnam, and got a job with the gas company in Chicago, turning off people's gas. He faced guns dozens of times, and finally quit and went to work at EMD, the diesel locomotive plant in Chicago. He had a lot of good stories about that place, too, including when they were moving a newly completed diesel locomotive over a bunch of other locomotives that weren't finished yet, and dropped it on the floor of the EMD factory. Good times. |
