Re: Referee Knocks Out Contestant at Karate Competition, then Stomps on His Head
Technically the call was made then the one in blue did a kick, then whitey punched, then blue pursued. Also in sports its a bit backwards the person who defends themselves or continues the fight in a form of defense (though blue was going total offense there) is the one that gets in more trouble. The person to initially start a fight is already gonna get tossed out or DQed or whatever. The one that continues it EVEN IN SELF DEFENSE is considered the one that continues it (so basic I just have to say it twice...) and is subject to harsher penalties 99% of the time. I have seen plenty of people defend themselves in sports fight situations and get penalized heavily for it. The guy in blue though...as I pointed out...went offensive and continued the fight after the white guys cheap punch. Also love how no one runs towards the ref to stop him...they all just tell everyone to back away from blue like it was a legit move (and in theory maybe it was...not sure the scenario or how it was handled over there). |

He must have graduated from the Bobby Joe Blythe academy! There's no honor there, only prison rules. |
