LANCASTER, Pa. Four people were arrested after a fight outside Gusto in Lancaster on Friday 18th of March.
A woman who lives nearbysaid:
"I heard a lady screaming and they had her pinned up against the wall.
There was a crowd around her, and I looked out the window and I see people pouring out and the crowd around her is getting bigger and bigger."
Around 1:40 a.m. that woman called police. They responded to the 300 block of North Queen Street.
At least 50 people were in the street pushing, yelling and arguing as more people came out of the bar, Lancaster police said.
As officers tried to clear the block, several other fights broke out in front of and behind the bar, police said.
Michael D. Lee Jr., 21, of Harrisburg, was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Brittny Richardson, 24, of Baltimore, Timothy Leaman, 28, of Lancaster, and Willie Woods, 26, of Philadelphia, were all charged with disorderly conduct.
An officer suffered minor head injuries during the fight, according to police.
After 10 to 15 minutes, police had restored order and cleared the block, police said.
"It's kind of scary. It's something that's happening more and more," said another woman who lives near the restaurant.
Gustos Bar will remain open for events that have already been scheduled.
The owner said he had a contractual agreement with the DJ who performed. However, the owner said there will be no more hip-hop nights.
Now Police want to yank the nightspot's liquor license as a result of multiple incidents.
Police have been called to Gusto's three dozen times in the past several months.
The Lancaster County district attorney, the city's police chief and the mayor had a hearing before a county judge, along with the owner of Gusto's.
They presented temporary restraining order totaling more than 20 pages to stop the problem bar from selling alcohol.
City officials said last week's fight wasn't the first time this has happened and they now consider the bar a threat to public safety.
