No kidding. The guy holding the phone has got to be one of the worst I’ve seen at holding the shot on the action. I did see some nice bricks though… |

Re: Police Call Criminal The N Word Repeatedly, As They Beat Him With Nightsticks
vests says politie which is app. dutch. traced the vid and found the vid and story from last year Translated: Think they're not saying the n word but lay down/liggen? A video that is circulating on the internet shows how police officers try to arrest an aggressive man on Monday afternoon on the NS square in Tilburg and beat him with the baton for minutes. The man was under the influence of drugs, according to police. "He punched someone before the fight and destroyed a car," said the police spokesman. The suspect is a 40-year-old homeless man. That afternoon he first hit someone on a terrace on the Heuvelring, after which the victim called the police. The suspect then smashed a car mirror and hugged all kinds of random people on the street. Then he walked to the NS square, where the film was made. In the video that is going around, a man can be seen yelling at two officers and trying to punch and kick them. Soon it comes to a struggle. One of the officers uses pepper spray. After that, the officers call out dozens of times for the man to lie down, but to no avail. When the man stands still for a while and does nothing more, the officers call for backup. Finally, the man sits down on a bench and two officers try to handcuff him, while another officer continues to beat him with a baton. The man struggles free again and stands. When an extra officer comes in, they knock the man to the ground, after which he is handcuffed. 'Agents decided it was necessary' "As you can see, the man resisted his arrest," said the police spokesman. "Attempts have been made to get him under control. If that fails, the police may use force that is proportionate to the incident. In this case, pepper spray and a baton were therefore used." The police spokesperson said the video is only a snapshot. "The suspect was under the influence of drugs and continued to resist. The officers then make an assessment of whether they can, must and may use violence. At that moment they decided that it was necessary. He was a potential danger and he had to be controlled as soon as possible." The man has been arrested and is still in custody. According to the police, he punched one of the officers on the head with a fist and pushed him into the bushes. Two officers were injured in the fight. One of them has been treated in hospital. 'He attacked me' At the end of the cutscene you can hear the man who is filming saying to the police: "He just attacked me and others!" According to him, that would have happened at the De Ritz sandwich shop, about three hundred meters from the site of the struggle. "I called you. I was eating a sandwich for The Ritz and then out of the blue he hit me in the face. My glasses and everything is broken." The reactions under the video are divided. Some are shocked by the violent man and agree with the violence of the police, while others criticize the actions of the officers. |
