Pensioner Goes Out for a Smoke and Gets Beaten Up by Young Punks
and some annoying youth were out in the street also having a smoke and being dicks. One of them approached the 53 yo man, that worked at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and then the cowardly pushing, punching and kicking begins. He suffered a fracture and serious head injuries. Police already know the identity of the cowards and are looking for them.

that's what the article said and the average life expectancy for a Russian man is only 67 so it wouldn't surprise me at all he hit early retirement working for a ministry as some military generals etc. hit early retirement at 50 in some countries.

Re: Pensioner Goes Out for a Smoke and Gets Beaten Up by Young Punks
I receive a pension back from age 57 from the county whom I worked for. In nine years at age 67 I can also receive social security payments on top of this. It will allow me then to make slightly more than I did when I was working. |

No idea why, but I thought you were around my age, I was way off! How come you get a pension at 57, is that the retirement age? I'm pretty sure it's around 65 here (England).
