Wow...what a tremendous about of latent hatred of law enforcement. Sounds like the DR has a lot of members that have axes to grind and crimes to forget. Why don't all the snot nosed haters take a long look at their reasons for such angst and hatred. Most of you hating the police are far too young to have such built in dislike and homicidal thoughts toward law enforcement as a group. Perhaps you all have prior arrests or altercations with the police that you just can't accept and you push that internal guilt on the authority figures you deem to be causing your pain? How sad to be so filled with hate and despair at such a young age.

I retired after 30 years as a cop...I'm just sitting here on my hairy ass earning a mid six figure retirement income, full lifetime medical, dental, and vision, and a nation-wide concealed firearm permit. You can call me anything but late for dinner...knock your laterday hippy ass out, but it won't change a thing...you'll still be whining, wringing your hands, and wettin you diapers, and I'll still be earning more in retirement that you will working full time (or in your case...collecting welfare) during you peak earning years. The last laugh is on you bitch. Ouch! Sorry, I just pulled a stomach muscle laughing my way to the bank. |

Comrade TedBrandt, just because you've been eating at the people's table and drinking the people's coolaid, doesn't mean that the rest of us haven't been working our asses off here in the real capitalist world making a pretty good living. What is it you find hard to believe? That I'm an honorably retired 30+ year police officer, that my retirement is in the mid six figures, or that I have a nationwide concealed firearms permit? It's not a secret comrade...but, since your probably as unskilled and out of touch with technology as you are with political ideology, let me help. Go to google and search for police saleries in California and public safety retirements in California and take a look. Here in California, public safety officers are paid rather well. And guess what?, as you move through the ranks and get more education and experience, and take on more responsibility, you get more money (imagine that comrade...pay for services earned...who knew?). I retired from a fairly large agency with 30 years service and a doctorate degree. My contract allowed me to retire at 50 with 30 years of service at close to ninety percent of my working pay...and my retirement is based on my highest earning year (to include all overtime and other compensation) over my last three years. My full medical, to include vision and dental, are also part of my retirement package. As for the nationwide concealed firearm permit...well that's thanks to the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) or HR218. That law says that any honorably retired peace officer with more than ten years service, who qualifies at least once a year with their handgun, can carry that firearm concealed anywhere in the US or territories. Guess what Ludite...you can google that too? If your concern is that I shared my retirement salary and that others might feel hurt or jealous...how well. Maybe...just maybe...it might be looked at as something to shoot for and strive to immolate by other? But I guess it kinda flys right in the face of all your outdated communist promises...doesn't it? I said nothing that can't be verified by a little online search and detective work. So as I say to all hippies and later day commies...GET A FUCKIN JOB...deadbeat. |
